Ben joined KOS in 1989. He works with clients in a number of industries including manufacturing, health care, construction, real estate, educational and professional services clients, as well as closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, and businesses that receive federal financial assistance.
Well-versed in student financial aid and governmental auditing, Ben works to maximize resources and proactively anticipate changing needs.
He assists the firm with implementation of technical accounting and auditing standards, and is on the auditing and quality control committees.

If you hadn’t become a CPA, what job would you have chosen and why?
A weatherman or a pilot. I find the weather fascinating, and the same with flying. I’ve actually been lucky enough to have flown a private plane.
Tell us about your favorite client.
There's a client that we do a great deal of consulting with. I am helping them clean-up and organize their accounting records, and am also teaching their CFO some accounting. I enjoy helping them solve their problems. I also enjoy when I get the opportunity to teach people.
What is your career highlight?
Becoming a partner at KOS.
How do you want to be remembered?
As someone who had fun during work.
Who is your hero and why?
My father—he worked hard, was honest, and always treated people fairly. He was a man of great integrity.
What lesson from mom or dad do you still live by today?
If you are going to do a job, then make sure you do it right.
What music/bands do you like to listen to?
R.E.M. and U2.
What do you most look forward to?
Going on vacation.
When you are not at work, what do you enjoy doing?
Running and working out. I also enjoy watching my sons play sports and performing in theater and music.
