What was it about the accounting industry that drew your interest?
I liked the fact that there is a lot of variety in working with different clients.
Tell us how you most enjoy helping clients.
Sometimes I work with people whose previous accountants have kept them in the dark about many things and really had not enabled them to do much in the way of planning. I like to help my clients personally and professionally by seeking information that will assist in tax planning. It is gratifying to me when my advice pays off for them.
What wisdom would you offer to aspiring accountants?
Listening is a lost art. Pay attention to what your clients are saying and be responsive.
What’s your career highlight?
