If you weren’t an accountant, what job would you have?
Child psychologist. I believe it would be a rewarding profession to help children with psychological and developmental problems.
What has been your career highlight?
Not necessarily one specific event has been the highlight but just seeing the natural progression that my career has taken, from being a junior staff person and learning the accounting industry to becoming a manager and taking ownership of the client services and building those relationships. It has been a very rewarding experience to realize such accomplishment over the years and to finally become settled as my career continues to progress. I am continually challenged to become an even better professional with each passing day.
Who inspires or motivates you and why?
My mother – She has always worked hard to provide for the family and her children so that we may have a good life – I would like to serve as the same role model for my children someday.
What lesson from mom or dad do you still live by today?
Treat those around you the way that you would want to be treated.
What are your favorite bands?
Three Doors Down and The Fray
What do you most look forward to?
The NFL Football Season
When you are not at work, what do you enjoy doing?
I love to spend time with my husband and immediate family. I enjoy the sights and attractions offered by Chicago and enjoy the fall season and watching NFL football.
