Scott provides tax and accounting services for clients in a number of industries including construction, real estate development and management, low-income housing, and common interest realty associations. He also serves those in not-for-profit organizations, proprietary educational institutions, as well as manufacturers and wholesalers.
With extensive experience in both the compliance and financial audits of proprietary educational institutions that participate in Federal Title IV programs, Scott has a unique insight into the relationship between the financial operations of a school and its compliance with applicable regulations.
Scott is also experienced in the preparation of financial projections and forecasts for real estate projects.
In addition to his client responsibilities, Scott performs technical reviews of financial statements issued by the firm, assists in the firm’s implementation of technical accounting and auditing standards, and serves on the firm’s accounting and technology committees.
